The _blacklibrary is the Second Life extension of this website.
Second Life is a 'virtual world' game, where players create characters that freely populate a computer generated environment. Great emphasis is placed on creativity and the game features comprehensive tools for building and scripting objects in real-time.
The _blacklibrary is intended as an experiment to test whether the principles that govern the running of this website can be applied to a three-dimensional structure inside an environment like Second Life. All of the content that appears on this website appears in some form or another inside the _blacklibrary and content that is generated by the library will make it's way back here.
Below, you'll find links to a tour of the place, instructions on how to get there should your curiosity drive you to take a look and as time goes by, articles detailing some of the things that have gone on there.
